OKLAHOMA AND KANSAS TURKEY HUNTS

   Our turkey hunting is spectacular here at Ducks N Bucks. We have secured over 3,500 acres of prime turkey country in the far western edge of the Flint Hills Region of South-Central Kansas. This area is home to huge flocks of turkey's and here you will find both Rio Grande's and a hybrid mix (Rio Grande/Eastern). Hunters will chase big gobblers along the rolling hills and corn fields of Grouse and Cedar Creek's. The past two seasons have yielded a perfect 100% success rate (18 hunters), with several clients taking two toms on a 3 day hunt. Of the 18 birds, only two have been jakes, with the average beard length checking in at nearly nine inches and weights running about 22 pounds.

   We also hunt turkeys each spring on some of our Oklahoma properties but on a much smaller scale than our Kansas ground. Either hunting venue is very productive and a great way to get Youth hunters involved in the outdoors. Tags and licenses are available over the counter at most local sporting goods stores. All turkey hunts are fully guided and include meals and lodging. We suggest early booking of these hunts as they are limited in number to keep the pressure on the birds low and the success rates high.
